Mental health has been a passion of mine for decades through the use of Therapy, Wellness Coaching, and Somatic Awareness. I strive to offer the best service to each individual based on their personal life experience, needs, and worldview. I enjoy the learning and personal growth I experience in the process of helping others.
On a personal level, I love being outdoors exercising, working, or sitting on a patio taking in the sights and sounds. My hobbies include cooking, working out, reading (pretty much anything), and binging crime shows on Netflix. I also enjoy spending time with my blended family of eight adult children and two grandchildren.
I love what I do! I see Counseling as more of my passion than I do "work". I have had experience in a number of roles including Social Work, Medical Weight Loss Director, Wellness Coach, Personal Trainer and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in both group and individual settings providing support and education with an emphasis in understanding the mind-body connection through a neurobiological lens.
I have been in private practice since 2020 and specialize in trauma resolution, anxiety, and depression. Prior to my current role in private practice, I worked with children and families healing from sexual and physical abuse and neglect. I specialize in Crisis Counseling and am skilled in Trauma-Related Dissociation, PTSD and Attachment wounding.
